about
i began making short films around the age of seven. in high school i began to think bigger, and in those four years, shot three feature films, popcorn lifestyle, twice as young, and the projectionist, the latter of which has shown publicly in several movie theaters on the east coast. i am currently a junior at SUNY Purchase's film conservatory, and am primarily based in the new york city area, though i still work all along the east coast. an avid blogger, web designer, and viral marketer, i am always looking for new ways to promote my work.
in 2009 i completed a 20 minute 16mm film titled 'Until the Sky Falls' which won audience choice award at the first annual doomsday film festival and screened at the 2009 queens international film festival. in the fall semester i purchased the rights to Stephen King's short story 'Popsy' which is on its way to being released. i completed a short film which reanalyzes the nursery ryhme 'Solomon Grundy' which is currently screening in film festivals.
After an overwhelmingly positive response to the 'Solomon Grundy' short, I elected to expand the short into a feature of shorts. taking the seven lines of the poem, i've begun to adapt seven short films that will play as one story when viewed together, centric to the characters from the original short. using some internet marketing in the spring of 2010 i was able to raise a modest budget of $13,000 to film the feature vesion of Solomon Grundy. After getting some attention in this matter, 'Revolutionary Road' producer Henry Fernaine signed on to produce 'Grundy' which will be filmed in summer 2010.
